Kaffed

The Diaspora Circassians are organized around cultural associations and foundations to protect and to develop their unique language and culture.

There are about 80 active Circassian associations in Turkey. Most of these associations have joined together under the Federation of the Caucasian Associations (Kaffed, in Turkish acronyms) in 2003. Kaffed member associations are located in almost all regions with significant Circassian population in Turkey. Kaffed is a member of the International Circassian Association, established in Nalchik in 1991.
